UPDATE HERE >>> DOUKNOW.NET ATTACKED BY THE CULT CALLED JEHOVAH'S WITNESS!
Is Dangerous to
The Watchtower
The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has
started their net-war to get rid of painful information, and they have started out like
the Church of Scientology by threatening by Law-Suits. Why do they want to stop the
contents of this internal "law-book" to be publicly known?
I know for a fact that many Jehovah's
Witnesses have been shocked by the fact that there is secret books and rules they do not
know anything about, and that they have been even more shocked when they learned what
actually was IN that book. The fact that the Watchtower is deliberately giving false
statements to the governments about how they handle their secret files is one example. In
Norway (where I live) they have been allowed to collect information about
«disfellowshipped» members. Any kind of information. Who you sleep with, have slept
with, how much you drink, with whom, etc. But they are NOT allowed to collect information
on existing members.
Well, they do, and "Pay Attention to
Yourself and to All The Flock" proves that! One thing is that they officially deny
any inspiration from God, but in this book they do Not deny it:
Today, Jehovah provides instruction by means
of "the faithful steward." (Luke 12:42)
(page 13)
But this is not the painful reasons for
making these threats. Every Jehovah's Witness «know» this, even if they officially deny
it. There are more serious reasons for the Watchtower to try to shut me down. One such
issue is the blood issue. The fact that the Watchtower is putting pressure on its members
in this question. One such remark can be found on page 21:
Individuals with
medical
problems who are facing the blood issue need special assistance.
Even before they enter the hospital, some may
need help in making sure that medical and legal papers are fitting and that the necessary
medical personnel have been spoken to in order to avoid a transfusion .
Another thing is that the Watchtower wants
others to pay their «pioneers», or full time ministers. No where in the book can we find
anything about the Watchtower supporting them with money. But, the congregation elders
should help them to get money from the Social Security or other ways possible from the
government! This is said nicely on page 25:
They may need advice and assistance in making
application to receive aid provided by Caesar for the needy.
Also we know that The Watchtower is bragging
about helping people after natural disasters. They do not, as usual, tell the full truth.
And that truth is they only help other Jehovah's Witnesses. On page 25 we can read:
In case of a
natural disaster,
arrange to provide comfort spiritually and to assist the brothers physically and
materially. (w73 3/1 pp. 134-5; w73
2/1 pp. 95-6)
Determine if any of the brothers were injured
or lost their life and what care is being administered.
Check to see what government aid may be
available.
So, "the brothers" should receive
help. That's not what they brag about in Awake magazine!! Talk like:
Following a natural disaster, the brothers
can make good use of opportunities to comfort others spiritually and, to the extent
possible, to help in practical ways according to the need.
is interesting, since they can't simply
pretend others is not there if a JW and a "disciple of Satan" is lying side by
side - but it's the "brothers" that shall receive help. Considered the
Watchtower is registered as a «Philantropic» association - an interesting case....
On the humorous side, we can learn that
laughter and jokes isn't needed among Christians, since Jesus never joked. Just look at
this insane statement on page 32:
Jokes and humorous stories are not necessary
and often detract from the power of the Scriptures. The Bible does not indicate that Jesus
used such devices.
So, the «Happiest People in the World»
shouldn't laugh to much, obviously :-)
Pressure is the rule here!
Everything is done by joy, they say. But the
truth is different. Let's take a look at a small quote that seem to indicate the
"loving" attitude:
Do not try to get the brothers to engage in
the field service by exerting undue pressure on them. However, encouragement is proper.
(page 35)
The keyword here is «encouragement». What
do they really MEAN by that? Let's take a look at a further explanation:
Help the brothers to appreciate that
participation in proclaiming the good news is a sacred duty, a requirement on which our
life depends.
No pressure, eh? Witnessing from door to door
is not something anyone can chose not to do, since it's a «sacred duty, a requirement on
which our life depends»
So, if a JW should chose NOT to witness, he
will die - be slaughtered in Armageddon - that is always «very near».
Also, the fact that «bad association» is
dangerous» is well known to JWs (read non-JWs). But this little sentence shows they are
paranoid world isn't that easy:
Encourage good associations; warn the
brothers to guard against bad associations both inside and outside the congregation. (page
91)
So, a JW are not in safe environments even in
the congregation itself! Even some of the "brothers" and "sisters" are
"bad association". The «Happiest People» have to watch out!
The «sins» in The Watchtower
Jehovah's Witnesses deny the reasons for
disfellowshipping, and claim people like me are «lying» when we say what «sins» a JW
will be disfellowshipped for. Let's take a look at a few of these things:
Sex is, naturally, one of the things the
Watchtower is totally obsessed with. All quotes on this subject is from the pages 92 -94:
Sexual misconduct, including; adultery,
fornication, and other forms of "por.ne'a.."
Uncleanness includes an intentional momentary touching of sexual parts or
caressing of breasts.
Such minor uncleanness can be handled at the
discretion of an elder or two; it does not require a judicial hearing.
There is a need for strong counsel, admonition, and assistance to help the individual to
maintain chaste conduct in the future.
So, if a breast is caressed a bit, there is
need for «strong counsel», which means that a poor girl really will have to tell all the
shiny little details to some elders, loving the story.
If not corrected, such conduct may escalate
in gravity and by frequent repetition become loose conduct.
Loose conduct .... may include the willful practice of heavy petting or the
fondling of breasts.
Aha! «Heavy petting» is «loose conduct».
And how do they actually KNOW if «heavy petting» has been done? By interrogating the
«offender». The girls are the ones that have to tell in detail, mostly. And you bet the
elders want every tiny little detail about the event.
The problem, of course, is this:
Such practices can easily lead to por.nei´a.
And what is por.nei´a.?
"Por.nei´a" involves
immoral use of the genitals of at least one human ( whether in a natural or a perverted
way ), and there must have been another party to the immorality a human of either sex or a
beast; willing participation incurs guilt and requires judicial action. It is not a casual
touch-
ing of the sex organs between persons but involves the manipulation of the genitals. (w83
6/1 pp. 23-6; w83 3/15 pp. 30-1)
It includes oral and anal sex or mutual masturbation between persons not married to each
other, homosexuality, lesbianism, fornication, adultery, incest, and bestiality. (Lev.
20:10, 13, 15, 16; Rom. 1:24, 26, 27, 32;1 Cor. 6:9, 10)
Another awful thing is masturbation, naturally.
Self-abuse, or masturbation, is not
"porna'a," nor would one who was raped be guilty of por.nei´a.
(w83 3/15 p. 30; w74 3/1 p. 160; it-l pp. 862-4; tp p. 144)
The term por.nei´a lays emphasis on both the lewd nature and the intent
of the person's conduct, and it embraces all illicit sexual activity characteristic of
that
found in a house of prostitution.
Copulation (as in penetration) is not necessary to constitute por.nei'a, and
neither is sexual climax.
What is Apostacy?
Apostacy is NOT teaching anything else than
the Biblical truths, believe it or not. It's teaching anything else than The Watchtower!
This is clearly stated on page 94:
Persons who deliberately spread (stubbornly
hold to and speak about) teachings contrary to Bible truth as taught by Jehovah's
Witnesses are apostates.
Also, working for an organization not
approved by Jehovah's Witnesses can get a member disfellowshipped:
Working secularly for a false religious
organization could put one in a position similar to that of one preaching false doctrine.
(2 Cor. 6:14-16) (page 95)
Guess what will happen if you send a
Christmas card, or do anything that the Watchtower feels has connections to «false
religion». Disfellowshipped.
Also, «faliure to abstain from blood» (page
95) is a reason for disfellowshipping. So, if some parents allow a surgeon to give
their child blood instead of letting the child die - they will be disfellowshipped!!!
This the Witnesses deny, but as this proves -
they are lying. On page 96 they mention «non-neutral activities» as a reason for
disfellowshipping. What's that? That can be rising when the national hymn is being played,
rising when the flag is rised, participating in anything that has to do with national
matters. Like voting!! What country can deny their citizens to vote? Well, The
Watchtower can - because the members that votes will be disfellowshipped. And that's
illegal according to all laws in democratic countries!!
Childeren or not....
Do not believe it is important if the
«wrongdoer» is a child. On page 98 we find this quote:
Baptized minors.
When a baptized minor becomes involved in wrongdoing that threatens the cleanness of the
congregation, the assigned committee should meet with such individual just as they would
with any other member of the congregation.
What if it is a woman that do anything the
congregation elders feels is wrong. Do they talk to her - or do they talk to her husband?
Remember - women are less than nothing in the Watchtower. Let's see:
If the wrongdoer is a married woman, it would
be best to meet with her and her believing husband.
He is her head, and his efforts to restore her and direct her can be very helpful.
So, just to let the poor woman know what she
is really worth - let's tell her husband about it. IF THE HUSBAND IS A JW. If not, the JWs
couldn't care less.
I will come back to more details on the
matter as soon as I have made this paper legal according to the Norwegian laws. A
copyrighted document is not a document you can't quote from. You can quote to prove a
stand, and to show others views. This is what I intend to do.
In the next chapter, I will show how the
disfellowshipping practice is done. How the «evidence» is collected, and what
opportunity the accused do have to defend himself. NONE what so ever. I will also prove
that the Watchtower demands the elders to lie to the congregation members if they don't
agree on a case - and also that the fact that someone can be mentally ill won't change
their rulings.
